BredaPhoto showcases stories that inspire, move, confront, spark new questions, and prove that photography is the ultimate artistic medium at the heart of society. BredaPhoto offers you the opportunity to view works by top national and international photographers in unique indoor and outdoor locations across Breda. Every two years, BredaPhoto organizes the BredaPhoto Festival. For seven weeks, the city transforms into a life-sized canvas, adding an extra dimension to the photographs.

From 2003 to Now
In 2003, a group of passionate photography enthusiasts organized the first BredaPhoto. Since then, it has grown into the largest photography exhibition in the Benelux and one of the leading photography exhibitions in Europe.
BredaPhoto Festival 2026: The Twelfth Edition
In the fall of 2026, the twelfth edition of the festival will take place in Breda.

Previous editions have showcased works by renowned photographers such as Raquel van Haver, Todd R. Darling, Xiaoxiao Xu, Tanya Habjouqa, Martin Parr, Carl De Keyzer, Pieter Hugo, Broomberg and Chanarin, Todd Hido, Yamamoto Masao, Tom Callemin, Sanne de Wilde, Daniel Szalai, and Stephen Gill.
