Luc Brants, artist Francesco Giordano and emerging talents from KABK and St. Joost
On 1 November 2025, BredaPhoto, in collaboration with Pride Photo, will host a special talk at ClubLokaal. Historian Luc Brants, artist and photographer Francesco Giordano, and a selection of emerging photographers from KABK and St. Joost Academies will come together to discuss queer histories and their impact in the present.
Brants explores how ideas about sexual and gender diversity have developed in Breda and the wider West Brabant region, while Giordano’s project Mit Euren Spuren – focused on recent German history – connects generations through images and memory. The selected emerging photographers continue this dialogue in Breda by portraying queer Bredanaars. Together, these perspectives create a space for reflection on what it means to see, to remember, and to make queer heritage visible.
