About the film
13-year-old Elias grows up in a loving family in a quiet Belgian village. His father performs as a schlager singer, Elias has many friends, and he is dating Valerie. When he becomes friends with his new neighbor boy, Elias’s world is turned upside down. He feels drawn to the trendy and free-spirited Alexander, and these feelings make him uncertain. For the first time in his life, Elias experiences true love, but he doesn’t want to be “different.” His struggle with these emotions takes him on an emotional rollercoaster. Will he dare to embrace his feelings and accept himself?
