MPB x Breda Photo Photography Awards Rules
- Age
You must be 18 years or older to participate. - Location
The awards are open to photographers who live in the Netherlands or Belgium. - Your photograph
Your photograph must have been taken within the last two years and must relate to the theme of BredaPhoto Festival 2026: Our Songs Came Through, exploring solace and resilience. - Original work
You must be the original creator and copyright holder of the submitted photograph. You may not submit work created by someone else. - No AI-generated images
AI-generated images are not eligible. AI tools may not be used to generate the image or substantially alter the photographic content. Basic editing and post-processing, such as cropping, colour correction, exposure adjustments and retouching, are permitted. - Respect and safety
Submitted photographs may not depict or promote violence, abuse or harm towards yourself, other people or animals. Content that is discriminatory, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or otherwise unlawful will not be accepted. - High-quality file
You must be able to provide a high-resolution version of your photograph if requested. The submitted image must be your own work and suitable for publication both online and in print. - Valid email address
You must provide an active email address that you regularly check. This will be used to contact you about your entry, the awards and, if applicable, the selection process. - One entry per person
Each participant may submit one photograph to the awards. (I would only include this if this is actually the intended rule.) - MPB product link
Your entry must include a link to an eligible camera, lens or other product on MPB that you would like to win as your prize. - Voucher rules
Vouchers awarded to 18+ selected participants only. Open to residents in the Netherlands and Belgium. Each voucher is valid for one single eligible online purchase on mpb.com, non-transferable, subject to expiry, availability, exclusions, and MPB’s full promotional terms and conditions at mpb.com/info/terms - Publication permission
By entering, you agree that BredaPhoto may publish your submitted photograph, name and accompanying caption on its website and social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook, in connection with the awards and the promotion of BredaPhoto Festival 2026. - Permission to use the photograph
You confirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions relating to the photograph and that its publication will not infringe the rights of any third party. If other identifiable people appear in the photograph, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions. - Compliance with the rules
Entries that do not meet these requirements may be excluded from the awards. BredaPhoto and MPB reserve the right to remove or disqualify an entry if it does not comply with the rules.
By submitting your photograph, you retain the copyright to your work. You grant BredaPhoto and MPB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce and publish the photograph for the purposes of the awards, BredaPhoto Festival 2026 and their related communications and promotion.
