It is called ‘the game’: the life-threatening journey that many unaccompanied minors undertake in search of protection in Western Europe. For Sajid Khan Nasiri, the game began at the age of fourteen when he fled Afghanistan on his own. After a two-year journey filled with danger and hardships — which he documented in detail with his phone camera — he arrived in Belgium. There, a whole new struggle begins: The Mind Game. An intimate documentary about the psychological pressure young refugees face.
