Opening weekend: The story behind your photo

Bring along a photo – printed or digital – and present it to Nova de Hoo or Tânia A. Cardoso. They’ll turn your story into a comic right there on the spot. Throughout the day, the illustrated stories will be displayed in the venue, creating a living, evolving exhibition. At the end of the day, you can take your comic home with you.

About the two comic authors: Nova de Hoo graduated in 2023 from the Comic Design programme at the ArtEZ art academy in Zwolle in 2023. Since then, Nova has been making a name for herself through live drawing, 3D animations and comics for children’s magazines. Tânia A. Cardoso is a Rotterdam-based illustrator and storyteller with a background in architecture and urban planning. Her comics and illustrations have been published in, amongst others, le Monde Diplomatique and in publications by Nai010 Publishers.
