Sint Antoniuskathedraal
Postcards from Khartoum - Fatima Alam
At Sint Antoniuskathedraal, you can see work by Fatima Alam, one of the six Sudanese photographers featured in Postcards from Khartoum. Since 2023, a devastating civil war has torn Sudan apart, resulting in millions of people being displaced and a major humanitarian crisis. The young photographers, many of whom have been forced to flee, reflect on the homes they left behind and the places where they now live. Yet their images convey more than loss: they also speak of resilience and hope.
