The Support Program
BredaPhoto values young photography talent and is always scouting new talent. The third and final step in BredaPhoto International Talent Program is The Support Program.
For the Support Program we enter into a two-year commitment program with three upcoming talents. During The Support Program we will assist the artist how to connect to the international photography scene using our long and established network. Our support is a customized program based upon the needs of the selected talent. For example, we can offer support in the field of book publishings by using our network of graphic designers, editors, binders, printing companies and/ or publishers. Or by activitating our contacts in the (festival) organizers scene to create opportunities to exhibit the work of the artist.
The Support Program participants are selected from a group of ten alumni who graduated at least two years, and no more than 5 years at one of the participating Academies in the International Talent Program. Each Academy invites one alumni to apply for the Support Program.
September 1st, 2020 these ten alumni have applied to participate in The Support Program indicating why they are the ideal candidate. During BredaPhoto 2020 (September 9 – October 25) they pitched their application towards the Support Mentors who announced the selected candidates Sunday October 25.
The chosen candidates are:
Alexandra Polina – Hamburg, Germany
Eva Kreuger – Haarlem, The Netherlands
Sara Hornig – Helsinki, Finland
The Support Program Mentors are:
Reinout van den Bergh – curator BredaPhoto
Vivian Bax – Photographer, maker and member of the Organizing Team of BredaPhoto International Talent Program
