BredaPhoto Festival Journeys will take place from 13 September to 13 November 2024. On Sunday 6 October the festival will be closed due to the Singelloop event. View the festival map here.

Opening hours
Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 to 17:00 hours

For special events outside these opening hours, check out our event calendar. On our website, you’ll find more information about the locations and all participating photographers and artists.

There are three types of tickets available for the BredaPhoto Festival: a day ticket, a two-day ticket, and a passe-partout.

Youth under 18 have free access to the festival. BredaPas holders also have free access to the festival. Youth tickets and BredaPas tickets are available here. Please bring your ID and BredaPas with you when you visit.

With a CJP card, you get a €7.50 discount on a day ticket. Be sure to bring your CJP card with you when you visit.

Day tickets are valid on the day of your choice. If you can’t visit all the locations in one day or want to extend your stay in Breda, choose a two-day ticket. Would you like to enjoy the BredaPhoto Festival at your convenience over a span of seven weeks? Choose a Passe-Partout.

Accessibility: Festival hub Carré Chassé + 't Zoet

For BredaPhoto hub Carré Chassé, it’s best to navigate to Chasséveld 3A. For the festival location ‘t Zoet, navigate to Markkade 18. View all locations here.

Bike Rental

In Breda, you can rent bikes at several points. At Breda Central Station, public transport bikes (OV bikes) are available on both sides. Opposite the StadsGalerij in the city center, there is a bike parking facility that also offers bike rentals.

Parking
Coming by car? You can park at parking garage Het Turfschip near Carré Chassé. For the festival location ‘t Zoet, the best parking option is De Prins parking garage.

All locations are wheelchair accessible.

Make the Most of Your Visit to the BredaPhoto Festival
Guided Tours
During a guided tour at ‘t Zoet or Carré Chassé, you’ll discover the fascinating stories behind the work of various photographers from both the Netherlands and abroad. The tours last one hour, and you can choose between two different locations and times. (Dutch only)

Please note: In addition to your tour ticket, you’ll also need a BredaPhoto Festival ticket. Book your tour at least 24 hours in advance.

Custom tour or event
Would you like an exclusive tour for your own group? You can book a private tour for up to 15 people  available in English as well). This costs €75 on top of the entrance tickets. Contact info@bredaphoto.nl for more information.

Festival Atmosphere
At the outdoor location ‘t Zoet, you can experience a true festival atmosphere on the weekends. Relax with a drink or lunch from the IJsbroers while enjoying various performances, workshops, and other activities at this location. The program will be announced soon.
