Relief photographs for blind and visually impaired visitors
During BredaPhoto Festival, three photographs from The Salt Ate Away Her Eyes by Libyan photographer Amera Elnaal are also available as relief photographs. A tactile print allows visitors to explore the images with their hands, while a voice-over guides them through the photograph step by step. The tactile photographs have been specially developed for blind and visually impaired visitors and can be experienced on the first floor of the Koepel District.

The space is accessible by lift. Admission is free for visitors who are specifically visiting the festival to experience the tactile photographs. Our volunteers are available to assist visitors where needed. The relief photographs are an initiative by Daphne Wagemakers.
